Bowenite is a "stone of the warrior", bringing success in business pursuits, personal pursuits, and intellectual pursuits. It has been used to increase abundance in trade and in merchandising and has facilitated advancement in achievement in the physical realm. It is truly a stone to bring elevation and distinguished eminence to the holder. Bowenite is the most sacred stone to the Maori tribes of New Zealand. It has been esteemed as a great talisman and is worn as amulets; it was known to protect one from enermies and from destructive forces which may come to ones life. It has been known to cause enemies to withdraw, inciting a feeling of danger within the enermy and providing the message, to the enemy, that he/she "gave no thought to this world" (hence, furthering the intellectual and the spiritual development of the enemy at the same time as providing protection to the holder). Protection from destructive forces tends to be facilitated by a protective energy field which radiates in all directions from wherever it is placed. In addition, currently, a gift of "Greenstone" is truly a symbol of love, friendship and thankfulness. If a pendant, caving, or piece of the mineral is conveyed through the generations, it is said to bring the continued association with those who also held it, promoting contact with the spiritual world of ones ancestors. It has been used in the realm of athletic endeavors, to provide "the edge" and to promote indestructibility. It has been used to change weather patterns; gridding the area of intended weather-change, the focus is upon a center stone (of the mineral), with the intent for "the good of all". Bowenite has been used to enhance the ease of relocation, to assist one in making a "clean break" from past traumas and environments, and to rid one of abrasive adversaries and opponents. The energy of Bowenite has been used to dispel tears and sorrow, to assist one in finding ones counterpart (soul mate) and to facilitate the adventure of change and unpredictability within ones life. It promotes the energy of freedom and lightness as we travel through this world. It also assists one to eliminate speculation, via providing insight to answers as well as insights to the appropriate and most beneficial questions to ask.
